Help make a difference; VitaPath Research
The Spina Bifida Association has teamed up with VitaPath to research the role genetics in Spina Bifida. Recently our Executive Director, Patty Dissell sent out a letter to all mothers of children with Spina Bifida. VitaPath has asked our chapter and multiple SBA chapters to help in the study. VitaPath is seeking mothers to complete an online survey and provide DNA samples using
an at-home saliva collection kit. VitaPath's hope is the study will provide insight on understanding Spina Bifida, and how someday it could be prevented.
For those mothers that would like to enroll, please visit
