What is the Stroll & Roll?
The Stroll & Roll is SBAK's annual walk. It is a 1-mile leisurely walk around the Norton Commons neighborhood. This event is open to the public and helps SBAK promote awareness about spina bifida. Lunch is provided by Karem's Grill and Pub. Bring your lawn chairs, strollers and wagons!
How do I register?
Walkers can register at www.firstgiving.com/sbak. There is no registration fee for walkers.
What are the prizes? How much do I have to raise to receive a prize?
Everyone who raises $50 or more will receive an official Stroll & Roll T-shirt. Those who raise $250 and $500 will receive other prizes, which are still in the works.
How do I create a team?
The SBAK Firstgiving site offers the unique ability to create a team in order to raise funds to meet the prize levels. Anyone can create a team through this Firstgiving site free of charge.
  • For those interested in creating your Team Page click on the "Register for an event" button (if no previous account) or Create a Fundraising Page (if you already have an account from previous walk) and complete remaining information. Once you have created your team, post "your story" and fundraising goals, upload a photo, and then email blast your friends of your page and how to donate to you.
  • You may also fundraise using our hard copy brochure. Watch for it in your mail!
