Our mission is to promote the prevention of Spina Bifida and to enhance the lives of all affected.

Thank you for visiting us on the web! We are very excited about all the programs and services we are planning for 2010. We are growing and reaching more families because of the wonderful support we receive from our donors like you.

We are very grateful to Kosair Charities! We would not be here if it was not for their generosity. They are a wonderful partner! We appreciate all those that support Kosair as well as SBAK.

We are working behind the scenes on updating our website. We want to make our site a place to educate, to inspire, to keep you updated on all the wonderful programs we offer. We are the resource center for Kentucky and Southern Indiana for our families, our friends of the organization and our community at large.

Let us know if there is something you would like to see or know about on this site. We listen to our various audiences and we strive to fulfill those needs.

Congrats to BGIT winner-- Hill on Wheels!!! - Wednesday, March 03, 2010

Congrats to Hill on Wheels on winning the 32nd Bluegrass Invitational Tournament!

Hill on Wheels, a team from the Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital in Lexington, KY captured the title on Feb. 7th when they defeated the No. 1 seed in the country, the Moraine Minutemen. They won by a score of 54-47! It was the team's first title in the three-day Bluegrass Invitational.

Hill on Wheels is coached by Cindy Jacobelli, Amy Verst, David Hartsek and Ada Marie Johnson. For more information about Hill on Wheels and Cardinal Hill Hospital visit www.cardinalhill.org.
